About the programme
The Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) is our flagship 2-year programme designed to produce hospital-ready lab technicians. You'll spend roughly 50% of your time in classroom + on-campus labs, and 50% in supervised rotations at partner diagnostic centres and hospital pathology departments.

- Sample collection, phlebotomy and pre-analytical handling
- Hematology: CBC, blood smears, coagulation profiles
- Clinical biochemistry: LFT, KFT, lipid, thyroid and glucose panels
- Microbiology: culture, sensitivity, staining and identification
- Histopathology and cytology basics
- Immunology and serology techniques
- Quality control, biosafety and lab information systems
